*Please note that Health Insurance and Vision Insurance are not the same, and they cover different types of eye care.
At Hillsdale Eyecare, we do accept medical insurance and can bill it—but only when your visit involves a medical eye diagnosis (such as dry eye, eye infections, allergies, or other eye health concerns).
Routine eye exams—including vision checks, glasses prescriptions, and contact lens evaluations—cannot be billed to your medical insurance unless you also have a Vision Insurance plan or rider.
If you do not have Vision Insurance and are coming in for a routine exam, you are welcome to:
Pay out of pocket for services, or
We’re happy to provide a detailed receipt for any services, which you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
